The Gustaf Tenggren biography

The first comprehensive art monograph on Gustaf Tenggren, "Gustaf Tenggren – en biografi" by Lars Emanuelsson and Oskar Ekman was published in November 2014 by Kartago publishing company. The book, written in Swedish, is a hard cover coffee-table volume in full color, with 280 pages containing app. 250 images. The story of Gustaf Tenggren's life and career is retold, based on a groundbreaking research including a large number of hitherto unknown data, documents, photographs and illustrations.

Following the publication, the book has gained significant interest in Sweden and hopefully increased the awareness of Gustaf Tenggren's international fame by the Swedish people. Unfortunately, the book is now sold out from the publisher, but may be available by antiquarian bookshops.
